A Visit From The Future: Chapter 4

"You cant continue being this stubborn, I have done some… research on some DNA I have from you and found that you are deathly afraid of being tied down and trapped, tell me why are you so calm right now?" Slade asked smugly.

"Like I would tell you why!" Nikia snapped trying to wiggle free, but ended up quieting after a few minutes.

"Now dear girl, your going to tell me what I want to know…. Unless of course you want to be locked in a cage…" Slade threatened a few inches from her face, she could feel his breath on her face.

"you can do the worst thing in the world to me and I wouldn't talk! Go to hell and rot!!" Nikia resumed struggling in her bonds, trying to get away from Slade.

Slade backed away from her irritated and reached for  a near by device and electrocuted her. Then just watched her scream in amusement until she passed out.  not long after she passed out he left the room and locked the door.

"The child is as stubborn as her parents, but I will break her eventually. Even if I have to kill her." Slade stated as he barged up the stairs.

"What do you mean you can sense her?!"Robin practicly screamed at the news he heared.

"Well thing is I only started to sense her because shes under emotional distress…."Kyran replied nervously as he looked at robin.

"Then where is she??" Robin growled as he glared at the young boy.

"outer rim of the city…… in a neighborhood….. in the south…." He replied looking at the ground nervously.

"we're leaving now…." Robin stated as he stormed toward the door, only to be stopped by raven.

"Robin, don't be hard on him, its not his fault we could find her till now." Raven said.

"Shes a young girl that is missing raven, for all we know slade got to her. Do you really want that??" Robin snapped.

"Robin, if you don't calm down now your not coming with us, Starfire and Cyborg will back me up on that.." she threatened, Robin glared at her for awhile and then realized she was serious and calmed down.

"Your right…. But we still need to move now." Robin replied.

"And we will, now lets go before she gets even more hurt."

With that they all left the tower following the direction of Kyran.

"Is the child awake yet?" Slade asked as he came back down stairs.

"oh she is very much awake…" a man grumped rubbing his ears. "She was never fully aware of her siduation and now she is, she started freaking out about being tied up, we may need to sedate her…"

"…just when I think I can get something out of her she starts having a panic attack? Let me see…" Slade commanded as he entered the room hearing all kinds of yelling and screaming.

"LEMME OUT!!!! LEMME OUT!! YOU *insert cuss words here* LEMME OUT!!!!!!!" Nikia freaked as she struggled to free herself. "LET ME OUT!!!!!!! I CANT BREATH!!!! I CANT MOVE!!!! LET ME OUT!!!!!"

Slade walked over to her calmly and grabbed her by the hair and slammed her head against the table and held it there.

"Listen child. I don't have time for your little psychotic breakdown, tell me the weakness and I will free you." Slade said in a threatening tone. "If not then you will stay locked up."

Nikia didnt really listen to what he said and tried to bite him with her fangs, Slade was furious from this action and smacked her across the face.

"Never do that again girl! If you know whats best for you, you will calm down. I don't play games and I refuse to play your games!" Slade threatened as he stormed out of the room. "That child is more trouble then shes worth, if I don't get an answer the next time I see her, im killing her myself."
Right at that moment something crashed through the window and slammed slade against a wall.

"YOU WONT LAY A FINGER ON MY SISTER!!!" Kyran screamed as he held slade against the wall.

"Come anywhere near her again and I swear on all the power I have you will not live long enough to regret it!"
Raven flew in not long after Ky did and went to retrieve Nikia from the room she was in.

"Nikia!" She cried as she unlatched her from the table, once she was free Nikia pulled Raven into a hug and began crying.

Raven, instead of reacting how she normally would to a hug, wound up hugging her back, after seeing how  upset the girl was already she didn't want to chance making it worse.

"Slade, I am going to let you live because you play a role in the future, but I swear if you set foot near my twin to harm her again, I will not show you mercy!" Ky threatened with his eyes glowing  a bright white, then proceeding to drop slade on the floor.

Robin just stood there shocked at what he just saw, then took notice of Raven coming out of the room holding a crying Nikia.

"We should… go home." Raven said before anyone else could say anything, and teleported them home, hoping that was the last they would see of Slade.

But little did any of them know, not far from their location a little girl with pink hair and green eyes appeared and Slade was the first person to see her.
